Privacy notice

Lingote OÜ uses the personal data and documents you send with the get-a-price form or by email only to quote a price and to complete your order.

Why we use your data

We use your data to quote a price for the translation, to contact you, and to complete and deliver your order.

What data we process

With the get-a-price form you send us:

  • your name or company name and your email address;
  • your phone number and a comment, if you add them;
  • how you want us to contact you, the document type, the translation direction, where you will submit the translation, and how you want to receive it;
  • your deadline, if you choose one;
  • the document files (up to 10 files).

The documents can contain identity data or health data. We cannot quote a price without your name, email address and document. We process the same data when you send a document directly to info@lingote.ee.

We process your data at your request, to take steps before we enter into a contract with you, and then to perform the contract. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We process your IP address and technical data about your browser for hosting, for the Turnstile bot check and for visit statistics. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). You can object to this processing.

The documents can contain special-category data, such as health data. We process this data on the basis of your explicit consent (GDPR Article 9(2)(a)). You give consent with the checkbox in the get-a-price form. You can withdraw your consent at any time: write to info@lingote.ee. The withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.

Processors

Cloudflare runs the website and processes data for us:

  • Hosting. Cloudflare delivers the website to your browser. To do this, it processes your IP address.
  • Email delivery. Cloudflare Email Sending sends the form data and files as an email to info@lingote.ee.
  • Turnstile. Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, sends the form. It runs only on the get-a-price page, after you start to fill in the form. Turnstile receives your IP address and technical data about your browser.
  • Web Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits without cookies.

The website does not store the form data or the files. They reach Lingote only as an email. Our email provider Zone Media OÜ (Zone.ee, Estonia) stores the emails in our mailbox.

Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the USA and can process data outside the European Union. The transfer is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and by the EU standard contractual clauses in Cloudflare’s data processing agreement.

Cookies

The website uses no cookies.

Retention

We keep the data and documents for RETENTION-PERIOD after the order is completed.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data;
  • have your data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict the processing of your data;
  • object to the processing of your data;
  • receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format (data portability).

To use these rights, write to info@lingote.ee. If you think we breach your rights, you can complain to the Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee).
