How the price is calculated

A standard one-page document, such as a birth certificate, has a fixed price. For longer texts, the price depends on the number of standard pages. One standard page is 1,800 characters with spaces.

The price also depends on the language direction. One column shows translation from Estonian into English or Russian. The other column shows translation between Russian and English.

For each price, the first line is the price incl. 24% VAT. The second line is the net price for companies (+ VAT).

Surcharges

These surcharges apply on top of the prices in the tables:

  • urgent work, more than 5 pages per day: +50%
  • work outside working hours (Mon–Fri 10:00–17:00): +50–100%

If a surcharge applies, it is part of the price we confirm in writing before work starts.

Translation without certification

A translation without certification costs less than a sworn translation. The sworn translator does not certify it with a signature. Choose it when no authority needs a sworn translation, for example when you only need to understand what a document says. If you are not sure, ask the authority whether it needs a sworn translation. Read more on the sworn translation page.
